Corporate & Social Responsibility
Here at Unique Fire Protection, we are committed to having a great corporate & social responsibility ethic. As a company, we work extremely close with many local and national charities to provide them with some support that helps them continue to do the fantastic work they do in their chosen field.
Here is just some of the work we have completed recently.
Sutton Coldfield YMCA
Our director, Steve White participated in an overnight event at the Gracechurch Centre in Sutton Coldfield. The aim was to raise money via sponsorship and raise awareness of the problem with homelessness in the region. The event involved sleeping rough at the Gracechurch Centre.
Samaritans Purse
The company as a whole participated in a parcel packing day for Samaritans Purse. This included our staff and children sorting and packing presents for underprivileged children at Christmas so they could enjoy the holidays as much as any child in the United Kingdom.
Parkinsons UK
Parkinsons UK always need to be raising awareness and bringing in extra funding to get the help that people who suffer from Parkinsons need. We helped by participating in a secret supper in the region.
We think it is hugely important for local businesses to get on board do their bit for charity. We support many charities through our various networks and find it a good way of helping the local community.
On top of the items above, we’ve also worked with a grassroots football club Red Star Rovers and Aldridge Church Centre to supply and fit all of the fire extinguishers for them. We also sponsor the Walsall Scouts Beer Festival every single year.
