The Security Systems and Alarms Inspection Board (SSAIB) is the leading certification body for organisations providing security systems and services, fire detection and alarm systems, telecare systems and services, manned security services and monitoring services.

SSAIB is a Security Industry Authority (SIA) approved certification body – in respect of the SIA Approved Contractors Scheme – that operates within the UK.
The SSAIB is a company limited by guarantee, operating on a not-for-profit basis. It promotes high standards of service and is focused on serving the certification needs of organisations providing security and safety related services.
Certification with SSAIB is a mark of excellence.

The UK Fire Association

The UK Fire Association – Home (uk-fa.org)
The UK Fire Association was formed by Alan Price, Tom Law and Alan Palmer in February 2009 primarily to serve the interests of small and medium sized fire equipment maintenance companies and their customers. They were joined by Andrew Berry in 2017 when he took over as chairman, and Dan Davis in 2020 when he became Treasurer.
UK Fire Association members are committed to providing their customers with quality, reliable and affordable fire prevention and protection services – for the long term!
The UK-FA exists to support small and medium sized fire trade enterprises, creating a network of experts who provide services and solutions to each other and UK consumers.
